Eh, Brett? He's a total newbie! Congrats on surviving another year.:old:

screamingchief 12-15-2011 11:11 PM

Thanks guys. :thanx:

And no,I'm not 70 yrs. old just yet.

I did'nt put a year in that box when I registered,so I guess somehow it defaults to the any old year or something of that sort.

Lets just say mid forties and leave it @ that,LOL.

Been a hectic time around here lately, our older dachs/lab mix Maggie has recently had a serious bout of pancreatitis,so she's been @ the specialty vet hospital, and that's racking up big $$$$ that was'nt remotely planned for.

But you gotta do what you gotta do for them buggers.

Started out she was kinda lethargic and was'nt eating anything for a day or two,so they had her on IV fluids & meds to help keep her hydrated & such, and today they went ahead and tried to feed her some boiled chicken, but she was'nt ready to fully trust them just yet,as she does'nt like to eat in strange places nor from strange people, but today when we visited her she ate some decent sized pieces of chicken for me,and I was uber ecstatic to see her gobble that down, sometimes that first step back is the hardest one to take.

My health, what can I say,it's been better, and it's been worse, but yeah any year above ground is a good year in my book.

But it's been a pretty rough & tumble year for sure.

Did'nt really do much to celebrate, had ordered a new 4 row radiator for my '72 bird, and on the way home from the parts store I picked up some rotisserie chicken for dinner, and I also had a small piece of chocolate cake for my B-day dinner.

Kinda tired though now, just have'nt been getting enough sleep.

Had a couple of guys PM me some b-day greetings too,so thanks to them as well.

So thanks again guys, gotta go for now.

Bret P.
