Just took some quick pics. The back window even though its plastic is clear as day. It just has moisture on it. The car drove like a dream. The car was built October of 1969 and the previous owner bought it with 88 miles on the odometer May of 1970.

Great looking car! Does it need any work at all? It looks ready to go.

Still has at least one of the original T-3 headlamp bulbs

It actually has all the t3 headlights in it. It actually don't need nothing more than a cleanup of the top and the inside could use a wipedown. It may need tires eventually cause I don't know how long its been sitting. Do these cars come factory with rally wheels? I didn't get any date codes off the wheels yet or the motor but will sometime after I run around today.

Rallye II wheels were an option, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're original to the car. Note that big cars have a 5x5 wheel bolt pattern so they aren't the same wheels you'd find on a Lemans/GTO.

Great looking car, but really, what is up with a green and white interior on a red car?

I'm firmly aware of 3QTY 68 GTOs and 1QTY 69 Firebird with them Big Car Rally IIs on. :) HIS

Yeah, check the date code on those tires before driving it too far. You don't need a tread separation to beat up those pretty fenders..

get that thing indoors and keep it there unless driven.

I've been following your postings on your new purchase, and I'm envious! I've always throught the 1975 Grandville and the 70 Bonneville were two of the best looking convertibles for later model Pontiacs! I think the 70 is unique with the retro grill design and the bi-plane style bumper. And those tail lights are definately cool! By 71 the big Pontiacs became just too bulky and chunkie looking. I have a 69 Grand Prix and I'd love to have a 70 Bonneville to go with it.
Wish I could find an estate car like yours, especially in that condition and at that price. You've got a real keeper. It's a car I've never seen at any of the cruise ins or shows in this part of Indiana. I don't know how many were made back in the day, but you just don't see them anymore. I hope you keep the car and enjoy it. Keep us posted.

With a 5x5 wheel bolt pattern? How did they do that?

I have a three car garage and the lemans and the boneville are right next to each other. I looked at the spare tire which still has its original tire cover on it. Would this rim have thee same stamped codes by the air stem as the wheels that are on it? I didnt pull thee beauty rings off to see the codes on the wheels but the code on the spare tire says M4 9 25 j1 anybody decode what that means?
