Motorcycles
So, due to the recent interest and discussions, and so many members coming out about their ownership of some fine antique, classic, and contemporary motorcycles, I thought it would be appropriate to begin a thread just about our bikes. Of course, post pictures and elaborate with your best stories!!! :)

The last couple of years, I've been reliving my childhood passion.
Racing Vintage MX. The stable includes YZ465, YZ250 and my pitbike....a Honda XR75. |
Greyson, is that the way that HD was delivered?
Bob, but it's the type R version as indicated by the sticker. Seriously, how's the quality? How many miles so far? Quote:

I can't take credit or making the stuff but I did come up with the ideas an installed everything myself. |
It's awesome. I'd need a cruiser though--to stay out of trouble and the ditches.

about the yellow scooter of mine above ...
Actually poncho , that R sticker was put on by the chinese factory , probably thought they looked cool and stole the design . its clearcoated over ... Quality is iffy , fuel lines were actually vacuume lines that deteriorated with the new gas and killed my carb at around 850 miles , a new one cost only $35 on ebay , the gauge lites are out , the tires are not even round and are nor even rubber , i think they are nylon , slippery on wet and painted surfaces ... still cool to ride ... I only have 1000k on it now because i feel funny riding a bike i cant insure due to it being registered as a moped . "no medical coverage if crashed" . maybe ill register it as a M\C next year ... http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...r/100_1355.jpg |
Good info. What is the maker and cost? Had no idea about the medical insurance issue. I foresee a time when Americans are riding these out of necessity. I don't live far from work, but I don't want to peddle there. I'll factor in fuel line and tire upgrades.
