I have a pair of 16's but not the date code you are looking for (K147, K157). Are these of any use to you? I am in the Farmington Hills area.

Bump, Still looking for 1968 #16 Head Date Code E208.

Dr. Schiffer, of course I don't know your reason for exactly the same date, but there are thousands/thousands/millions / that are original cars, where the date codes are close but not the same day. They put in what was asked for on the build sheet, etc, and grabbed what was available,I have a 65 GTO with original, and the dates are a few days apart.
Now,maybe your car originally came with same date coded #16 heads? And you want to make it exactly as it came from the factory-I get that part, but of course,to give a little leeway on the date would up your odds of finding one,at least help the odds.
Good luck either way Larry Banks

Bigpop I'm not in any hurry and I am more than just casually aware of the way the factory's foundry and assembly line worked. But this is the head I need to replace. I'm not looking for the exact clock time for the shift too. That would be more anal. Just the date. But, thank you for your input.
