I NEED TO KNOW THE LOCATION OF THRU FLOOR CABLE HOLE AND THE LOCATION OF THE SIFTER FLOOR MOUNT HOLES......OR POSSIBLY THE LOCATION OF THE FLOOR BRACKETS IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE FIRE WALL.. OR FROM THE FRONT SEAT BELT BOLT HOLES TO THE SHIFTER REAR MOUNT HOLES....

I will be pulling the interior out of my 70 in about 3 weeks, so if no one has given you the measurements, I can take some. Get back to me in about 3 weeks I should be able to help you.

Thats why I don't get any work done on my car, I spend the winter play'n with the sled. I've got 800 miles on the SRX so far. I live in Port Washington, your up near Oshkosh right?

I can't give you measurements, but I found this old picture. It looks like the shifter mount is right on top of a lip in the trans tunnel you can locate on your car.

Oh what nice floors I have. That is a Texas car.

Wouldn’t there be some kind of depression or dimples in the sheet metal to locate the hole? I mean, how would the guy on the assembly line know where to punch the hole without a reference point? http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...n_confused.gif

That's a good question MarkJ. I'm surprised the cable hole is not there, with a plug in it. I would probably mount the shifter first then see where the cable wants to go, before cutting a hole for it. Compare to picture too.

I do find it hard to believe it's Sierra Yellow. I have a list of four others I know about.

Can you post a picture? I got bored with the "vanilla wrapper" so I added stripes last summer.
