Build sheet found in bucket seat....cool

1 Attachment(s)
Pleasant surprise while I was disassembling my bucket seats today.....found a build sheet. Pretty cool the location, as I haven't found one in this location before. It's not from my car though....these are donor seats for my HO lemans. I got them from 4slash6. Fortunately, I found the build sheet from my HO lemans on top of my gas tank.

Places I've found a build sheet:

1. Under pass front carpet (Pontiac plant)
2. Under trunk, top side of gas tank (Freemont plant)
3. Behind Driver door panel ...secured with a screw (Pontiac plant)
4. Drivers bucket seat (Lakewood plant)

Anyone else have cool pics with build sheet finds?! I'll try and track down the drivers door pic.

way to go PAT!

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...ld+sheet+found almost as nice condition as the one I included with the sale of the car! slowgto had a great idea years ago. he said to safely storage the original build sheet and replace with a copy in exact place where original was found on car. cool idea.

Cool Pat, So I take it your original seats were pretty much toast? Whose seat covers are you going to use {PUI or Legendary} ?

Well played, sir.

Top of the tank for me, Pontiac built '65 GTO. It's the only one I've ever found in any of my classic cars.

More like "with a screw unintentionally shot through it". The build sheets were supposed to be thrown away but it was just easier to leave them where they lay and build the car up around them.

Hoping I have enough from the 4 bucket seats that I have will make two good, original seats. Taking them off to take to the upholstery shop to have them sewn up. One pass seat is perfect with the exception of one piping thread.

If they can't fix up my originals, I'll go the legendary route. Crossing my fingers....

Cool Tom! I will keep this one with my collection of build sheets. At least two were in that car!
