DCI RAM AIR V Heads / MR-1 Block Build
 
Don Johnston will have in hand my MR-1 Kauffman Block soon and then he can get started on this build. The engine will be going in my 1967 Firebird.

The tiger cub set the bar high for a pump gas 505.

I think Tin Indian had one on their Web site that went almost 700 HP and over 700 LBS of torque. Don shouldn't have a problem! :)

Steve, I don't think we discussed really what your HP goal is. When we first started this project I think you wanted to use your 455 HO heads, and build a bottom end that could be upgraded later. I am really glad that you are going in the direction your going, and think you will be happier in the end. It's only money right? LOL!!!!! I think it's Nike or Reebok that says, JUST DO IT !!!!

Hi Don,

HO Heads have been Sold.

I will call you to discuss the changes I have made regarding this build ,of course need your input too on how we move forward.

I kept this post vague until we finalize everything.

Will they work with Dons heads?I know they are a tight fit with stock V heads on my 69 bird.Tom

The headers are under revision to work with Dons DCI Heads.
