1965 Trispower 4 spd GTO convertible

I was out for ice cream in the car last Saturday and a '65 California GTO convertible 4 speed pulled in. Had the Cali emissions tubing, bent fan, all original except for the fan shroud which was plastic. Motor never opened up and had a console with vacuum gauge and rally gauge dash with no power steering or brakes. It was a charcoal blue color and in perfect shape besides the survivor engine bay patina. Amazing car with all docs and original window sticker.

I didn't have my phone so I couldn't get pics. The manufacturing location was BF, where is that? Really nice car. Had one of those old hood locks with the pin and an old car alarm with the key on/off drilled into one of the front fenders. Wish I had brought my phone. He's local so I might see him again. The car also had mint Hurst wheels. The guy said he has 3 more sets and is going to bring one set to CT this weekend at a Pontiac event to sell.

Sounds similar to this ‘65.
Tri-Power, 4 spd., convertible.

BF = Fremont, Ca. Build.

This car is “B1” = Blue Charcoal, White Top with Blue interior.

That looks like the car except it had Hurst wheels. He said he has the original rims with spinner hubcaps and he had a copy of the window sticker that was laminated which looks like the one you posted. Real nice car. The build date was 12A.

It sounds like it's car that 60sstuff posted pictures of. This car was owned by a member of this forum in Massachusetts, he sold the car to someone in New Hampshire. The previous owner told me that the new owner installed a "non original" vacuum gauge on the console. This car did have the old car alarm as you described. I'm sure it is the same car.

It is the same car because I can see the key lock in the driver's fender for the alarm. The car did have a vacuum gauge in the console. Really nice car overall.
