67 GTO whereabouts

A few years ago, a midwest classic car dealer listed my old car for sale as an original 1967 GTO 'Hurst Edition' when it was just a base model GTO. I did find out later the dealer ran into some troubles and closed the business. It did have some cool options: disc brakes, 4 speed, AM/FM stereo, AC, and Plum Mist paint (it had been repainted black).
VIN is 242177B109643
Anyone seen it lately?

Yep that's it. I found the car over in Thomasville and bought it from Ronnie Palmer around 1989. He had a lot of cool stuff out there but crushed a lot of it to lay for his 2 kids in college around that time. I guess someone ended up with the 67 he repaired that sat in his shop since the late 60"s?

I haven't been to his place in at least 20 years I guess.
But the White 67 GTO YS low low mileage was still taking the same spot in his garage then.

I started going there around the same time (89-90) , but evidently it was after you had already bought your car from him.
I never saw it there
He had 67 parts cars out the Yazoo !

I did see a Plum Mist Hdtp with White interior YZ A/C car at an upper scale apartment complex in Guilford College area in the early 90's. He wasn't interested in selling.
Was a beautiful car

iirc the White 67 mileage was in the high teens or low 20's .
YS Console AC PS PB and not much else
The damaged passenger quarter was pretty straight after his metal work and he was doing the finish work with lead.
He was adamant that there would not be any bondo used on the car.

Definitely a great guy from the glory days

I believe the white YS car was around 15000 miles. The 67 I bought from him sat outside the shop from 1973-1990 when I purchased it. He bought it with a blown motor in 1972. He installed a carb to pan low mileage WS 68 400HO, and a wide ratio M20 from a wrecked 69 Chevelle. It had a 4.33 STT from his 69 Judge that was stolen and recovered wrecked. The remnants of the Judge were still there in 1990. Frame, driver door and firewall. He sold off everything else. Ronnie was a true old school craftsman. Taught me a lot about Pontiacs
