I need help getting the hood to sit right on my 80 Trans Am. It is a fiberglass hood. The hood sat fine until I replaced some bent hinges. Now it seems to be too high in the middle on each side, but flush in the front.

Here are some pics:

It almost looks like you may have to lower the front half of the hinge, that mounts to the fender, or your hinge has to much tension for a fiberglass hood.

Yuo didn't say whether you changed to a lower tension spring or not? Most people when using a FG hood go to a clutch return spring.
