Anyone know what the thick "dumb-dumb" stuff is on the inside of the kick panels. It seals the big hole and stays pliable over time. Doesn't get really hard. I've serached and haven't found anything.

leave it out or use 3M strip clauk in multiple layers.

Thanks! I know it looked like old school stuff. Just need to seal the big hole from dirt and water that flows down from the cowl area.

I use the Butyl tape used to bed the front and rear windows for this. It workswell and stays pliable.

Looks good Im right behind ya .the Headliners goin in sat .On the Carpet dont you have to slice it to get the seat brackets under?
by the way in the HVAC world we have stuff called THUMB GUMM permagum its the same thing the factory used
