I must be missing something here, what we need is HUD, not something that keeps drivers from looking at what's in front of them. Geez, cell phones are bad enough...

Cool looking though... :)

All I see is potential problems down the road when something goes wrong with this mess. We need more simplicity, not create a computer office in your car. These kind of cars will become obsolete as soon as you buy them. Not want I want.

You can already do this sort of stuff with customisable dashes using MiMod systems.
Pretty neat.....and I believe Audi already offer a good HUD system.

Another big distraction. People around here can't drive let alone drive without being on their phone or texting. I can't imagine someone focused on the map.

I think it could be a big distraction also, but I dont think as bad as phones/texting, as we are already use to looking down at the instrument panel getting relevant information then looking back up.

But I agree 100% we need a good transparent HUD on the windshield

People buying high end Audis are generally not too concerned with what happens to the car once the lease is up.

In fact, anyone who buys an Audi with more than 50k miles on it must really hate their savings account.

I wonder if that still holds true now that they are owned by VW

I have a friend who owns an older A4 (i think its like a 96) and that thing just started falling apart a year or 2 ago and everything was pretty ridiculously priced

A guy I work with bought an Audi...because they were Euro trash cool....he sold it approaching its first big service that required a complete brake job as well.....it was going to cost him thousands, so he traded it on a Mazda, lol.
