When pulled down to 4000 it was 764 ft lbs.

Pump gas deal driven everywhere.

PAUL K 09-29-2022 08:33 PM

No idea

slowbird 09-29-2022 08:38 PM

The real max effort guys are 1250-1350hp

Not max effort, but not low budget either. Pump gas 535
797hp
697 tq.
I would have liked to try my 1250 carb in place of the 1050, But, it broke a rocker arm before I made any real tuning changes.

There is only one N/A king. If you don’t know who he is, you should. :)

On the street? Damn!!

We have plenty of 1000+hp cars on the street around here but they are all turbo or procharged. Very rarely do you come across a street driven pump gas NA car that even has 600hp, let alone 700 or 800.

I know this is street section but JC didn't really say what he's looking for. Just highest na is it. So I guess he needs to clarify his question

Ah, yeah you're right. My bad. Since it's the street section I figured he was looking for pump gas street driven stuff.

I could see a full tilt race motor with big compression getting there.

Sorry, I meant to start this in race section. Maybe can move?

Thanks Bart

1250-1350..... Some guys are claiming a bit more but never seem to have a dyno sheet or a trip down the track, or an engine that stays together.

John,

Torque 870 @ 7000
HP 1290 @ 8300

So just how much has changed in the last 6 to 7 years.

Stan

1298/914 with break in oil
7.54@181 at 2800 pounds with an auto trans
7.66@179 at 3010 pounds with a clutch last weekend in Indy
With the weight out (2800 pounds) with the clutch in the fall in east coast air, it will go 7.30’s on a small tire.

John,
Thank you.

I don't know what size your engine is these days, but that should put you pretty close to 1.6 lbft per ci. Very nice.

Any dyno sheets to back the 1350 you claim?
