Body to frame bolt torque ?

I have had the body of my '64 Tempest 2 dr. sitting on the frame for some time (of course with the rubber bushings etc.) and am just now getting to installing the bolts. What is the torque spec. for these bolts? I can't seem to locate this in the ref. material I have.

Thanks,

Phil

32 lb. ft. is the factory spec.

If there is space between the cushion and the body, you need to consider adding shims. Pulling the body into place without shims, can contort the body. if you've body worked and painted it in the un-contorted position, You could cause problems if you then stretch the body. I didn't need any shims on mt 64 gto, but on my 55 chevy I did.

Thanks guys. I will go with 32 Ib.-ft. There doesn't seem to be a need for shims as far as I can tell. I'll have a closer look. The body is just in primer at the moment. I still need to pull the windshield and rear window to repair the troughs.
