Trunk release solonoid?

I believe this was removed from a 1973 pontiac grandville.

would this be same fitment/functionality for all 1973 pontiacs?

anyone care to share a diagram of the mounting/wiring?

thank you

Looks to be the same as mine on my 77 Trans Am. I can take a picture of mine tonight or tomorrow if it’d be useful and nobody beats me to it.

solenoid

Thanks Brian

once I went and looked, very simple install. tested and works great. just run the wire and install a glove box button now.

just a fun item to add beings I had the solenoid laying around for probably 25 years!

Good! I love mine actually. Nice feature to have in my opinion

That particular trunk release solenoid was used in just about every GM car line in the 1970's- early 1980's.
