Crank Trigger Mounting?

I need to move my trigger mount because I cant get the timing where it needs to be. I have a motor plate. Can someone post a few pictures on how you have them mounted. Thanks John.

Not to hi-jack your thread but I wonder how one would mount one w/o a motor plate....on a stock timing cover?

dammen8 04-26-2019 09:27 AM

Yes, it just uses the timing cover bolts... the motor plate is what made it more complicated..

How do you tell the ignition where the trigger is mounted in relation to TDC?

The controllers I've seen need the trigger to occur at your desired full-advance value.

I have a pattern made for a bracket that would mount to the fuel pump pad, just need to get it to a guy with a CNC machine.

Here's a great video to explain the system. Remember distributor gets locked out. No mechanical advance.

Mounted mine to the 2 lower timing cover bolts.

Mine is mounted to a fuel pump block-off plate.
