68/69 hideaway headlight harness mounting

I've been messing about ignoring the major bodywork on my 69 project and have been screwing around with the core support. One thing I'm wondering about is the clips for holding the harness along the support for the harness. My car was originally standard headlights and has the Plastic J clips there. Hideaway harnesses wrap the hose in with the wiring and it's too fat to fit in the J clips. As a last resort I went to the assembly manual for a piss-poor drawing. what I can see in the drawing makes it look like they used the plastic loop ties like what goes on the wheel well to hold the harness and battery cable. makes sense, however I've seen quite a few differences between what those drawings call out and reality of what actually happened based on my experience with these 68/69's I've had, many in the 80's from original owners. I was scrolling through some internet pictures and came across a picture described as a time capsule original car and it looks like the plastic clip is used and the harness just mashed in there.

Can anyone confirm that their car used the plastic clip and not the loop that the assembly manual calls out?

Those are also a couple of my go-to photos for correctness.

ah, thanks for those pics. it looks like they continued using the loops on the right side of the harness after the hoses break away in the middle down the horn bracket even though it's now just a regular harness thickness. I'd thought they'd have just used the J clips for those last two positions but I can just make out what looks like the loop hanging lower than the J clip would be from that backside picture.
