Original M-22 Found
Received an email a couple of days ago from a previous owner of the T-37 that he had found the original M-22 for my T-37. Alaska is a small state. He has rebuilt it and is ready to go. I have a correct M-22 and will work out a swap or sell mine for cash and pay him.
I will be back up there late this month. Have pictures of it and s/n is there except last two digits. Great news. Now all original drive train. Doesn’t get much better than this. |
I don’t know the backstory, but that sounds great. :)

Go to my info page and scroll down.
Entire story is there. This is a ‘71 T-37, 2 dr post, 455HO, M-22 car. |
I couldn’t find that, but found this old thread. What a story!

HeavyDuty Congrats to you Jack.
i knew you ordered/bought the car new, but was not consciously aware that you had ever sold it, and eventually got it back later. Hope it wraps up smoothly for you :) |
Your car has been in discussions before in the past, several times.
But i can't remember everything about everything anymore .... What were the production totals for 71 T-37 455HO cars ? Auto / 4spd Hdtp / Post Another member on here found an Automatic 455HO T-37 Post Car about 10 (+/-) years ago. Haven't heard anything else about that one. |
Dan Jensen has one of the auto cars. He has a list of them.
11 total T-37 2 dr sedan (post) cars. 455HO 6—-4 speeds 4—automatics 1——3 speed Total of all non GTO is 123. LeMans Sport, LeMans, T-37 |
That's great news Jack! I never knew that you bought NOS RAIV heads the same time you ordered the T-37. It sounds like you had some bigger plans for the car if you kept it back then...cool story!
