What constitutes the best heads?

Flow Bench flow numbers? Dyno Numbers, Track Numbers.

In every case, there are a lot of variables that make the claim fragile.

The you have all of the "exceptions". My head is the best edelbrock head in the world on a red 64 GTO with a 380 cid engine and a AM Chassis with a 14x32 tire on jack stands in the rental storage place. (;>)

When it is properly boosted it will be even faster on those jack stands.

They say the Suicide Messiah dwells from within that place, I'm pretty sure it dwells from within ourselves.

well, that's all fine and dandy for now, but mine will be the best once I get them.

prove me wrong, with actual data, third party weighing the car

I really want to put my engine in Jeff's car for many reasons.

#1 Jeff is a really good guy
#2 His car is absolutely beautiful
#3 His car flat out works
#4 He has probably the best crew in the small tire world
#5 No one can say my car has some kind of late model aero advantage
Downside:
Jeff's can only get his car down to 3150#
Im trying to sell the 525
Its a lot of work for chump change
I wasn't planning on going to the Norwalk sausage fest

flow numbers mean nothing unless you're racing vacuum cleaners

I can make a dyno say whatever numbers I want

my car has been 158MPH@3600# documented by a third party including weight
even if you deduct 3 MPH for "east coast air" what does that show on the dream wheel?

mike leech 01-16-2015 10:34 PM
