Getting pumped up on my 1971 Judge fluffing.
It had a mediocre 80s restoration. With some metal work and blacked out underwood.
Now it's needs a post restoration. My favorite driver has been driven enough where the old wiring, paint, stripes, engine bay are looking a bit tired. It is currently awaiting the fine hands of Darrell at Supercar Creations in Ohio to make her pretty again. http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...psq7yz0adk.jpg More to come after Christmas..... |
looks super nice!!
|
Well like he said, its a good driver, were just gonna make it a better show/driver car.
|
wow. she is a niiiice driver.
considering how well Darrell did on the GT-37, will this one remain a driver? |
The paint was bad on endura as well as light housings. Hood tach didn't match, and had other the orange peel that garage paint jobs are known for. Hard to match a bad paint job.
Also, when first got loaded and delivered it suffered some valance scrapes. Stripes were worn too. Engine bay was a black fog down. Engine color was wrong and intake was raw On top of that old electrical wiring led to gremlins and brake downs. Has what I refer to as survivor wiring and interior thrown back together after amateur restoration. Lots of little things added up to a good fluffing by Darrell. Off she goes in Darrells trailer... http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...stddcmyuk.jpeg Which leads me to my other dilemma. Have a nice set of seat covers with almost perfect confort weave. Do I replace the original interior seats. |
That is a fine looking car. I would be proud to drive that.

Check out this 70 that my dad sponsored Mike, don't mean to crash your thread though.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...7ce15bfacd.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12...f728a85b9c.jpg

Good tip on fixing the wiring.

Interior thoughts are new comfort weave on old frames. Keep originals intact.

(his work is amazing by the way) |
I would keep the original seat covers on, but that's just me
|
I'm keeping the skins on the original seat, and storing them.
Just putting new skins and padding on another seat set. |
Mike
