The Crow saved my life.......
And sacrificed its own in the process. This sucks guys. I loved that car and a lot of what I am is owed to it. It's def not rebuildable. Ya some of you will say I shouldn't be street racing, but I don't see how that would change anything at all.
I was winning, and making a solid pass when I was clipped in the rear 1/4 just before the finish line. It spun me up into a barrel roll and eventually went end over end from what I was told. I am finally out of the hospital and looking for a fresh Pontiac to build or slide my combo into. Please pass along any and all nice big tire cars 25.2..... Before anyone opens their mouth and closes their minds, I want to make sure it's known that I didn't have insurance, the show doesn't pay me for the car, the show nor the network are paying my hospital bills nor giving me a dime for a new car. I work 18 hour days to pay for my hobbie so eve4y dime is mine. Thanks for all the kind words fellas Text pics or info of cars to 405-401-7409 |
Sucks that the crow is gone, but good that you are here to tell about it! Good luck with the healing process and finding your next bad ass Pontiac!
|
Glad to hear you came out of it pretty much OK and apparently in a good state of mind! Good luck on your next build.
|
Justin, you have alot of support over here and many people willing to help we just need to know what you need. It hurts me to see "The Crow" in this condition but I know you will come up with something just as great.

Glad your are ok bro. It sucks that the other car hit you. Good luck with your next ride and please post about it. God bless you.
|
Glad to know you are doing better.
Thanks for the report. Looking forward to the Crow,Part 2. Dedicated to the Crow! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF5iiMQLgaY |
David Butler told me that there is a video out there somewhere with the "barrel roll" and the "end over end" gymnastics by the Crow.
Very glad you are safe and at home. Healing is always better with family around. Tom Vaught |
Big Chief. Glad you are still with us! Can't imagine what you and your family are going through right now. I don't have much to offer besides thoughts and prayers. Continue to fly the Pontiac flag! Starting over will not be the quickest way to get back in a car, but The Crow wasn't built over night either. Best wishes in whatever path you choose. If starting over, I've got a 72 Lemans shell in Indiana. Not probably as nice or clean as something in Texas or Oklahoma, but it's here if you need it. -Doug Pulskamp

Dude, it's good see you're still with us! Your attitude and approach to cars and life is commendable. I'm sorry for your loss but happy you made it through it without major issues. I'm watching the show now, it's the highlight of my week. I've finished a couple of cars this year based on the getting the fire relit from the show. I just finished an 05 NA GTO to grudge match a buddy up north in a late model GT500 (man I hate Ferds!).
Good luck getting a car back together and it's great news to hear it will be a Pontiac with Pontiac power. If I can help yell. BCTTFMF!! |
Very sorry to hear of the demise of the Crow.
:( Those funny car style cages are done for a reason. :) Did Adam ever sell his LeMans he had? It was built nicely I think? :) |
We were sorry to hear about your accident, but glad you're doing well now. Did the engine (short block) survive?

Get well soon. I was wondering about insurance with you guys street racing, even though I know it's a closed set, health nor auto insurance would be applicable?? That sucks, sure the ER bill is huge. Being from Detroit, I've seen my fair share of street racing, and been involved in a few. Tom, how ya doing?? Long time no see. I'm sure there's a video or two floating around, but whoever posts it first will have Discovery's lawyers so far up their a$$ they won't be able to sit for months!!!!!!!!!!!! |
the crow part II
Hope you are feeling better, Justin. I know another 70-72 A- body poncho would be a perfect choice for you. That 92 Trans Am that DCI is offering for sale in our 67-92 firebird/TA for sale classifieds is a nice alternate choice.
|
Glad to hear you are alright....take care and heal up properly!!
Here is one from Racing junk..not mine 6.0 cert... http://www.racingjunk.com/Complete-R...c-ventura.html |
Hated seeing the pics of the car first thing in the morning. Watching you and the crow were the main reasons for watching the show. Hope you heal quickly and find a new ride I know mine would be a little too heavy for you. (but it would be nice to see it with a set of twins!)
|
Glad your all right Justin! Live to fight another day! All the Pontiac guys are rooting for ya.:3gears:
|
Glad your still with us Chief! I'm sure your heart broken over your ride, just as any of us would be, but that can all be replaced. Live and race another day.
|
Glad you are OK Justin.......
Looking forward to see what you build next....... Keep it Pontiac!!!! |
|
Justin, as a fellow heating & air guy I'm with you. Not the way you wanna end this season before looking at another busy all work and no play winter ahead. It will be a hard pill to swallow no doubt. We're all pulling for you tho and know you will build another badass Pontiac! Godspeed brother!
