1973 Formula 455
MOVING SALE
Moving out of state, and I am not taking this with me. 1973 Formula 455/TH400 Auto Shifter on column. Admiralty Blue/Neutral deluxe interior. One of 519 made. Fully numbers matching, down to alternator and radiator. 90k actual miles. Runs excellent. On the road, inspected an insured. I have put almost 400 miles on this since last summer. Has brand new brakes, brand new Year One Honeycomb wheels with matching M/T tires. Some minor rot in the lower quarters between the door and tire. Drivers fender is loaded with bondo due to collision damage. Hood is absolutely perfect and free of the dreaded bow. Floors and trunk floor perfect and untouched. Perfect dashpad. All instruments work except the clock. Needs headliner and front seat cover repair. Brand new correct reproduction Formula steering wheel. Good driver as is, but needs restoration to be really nice. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=827465 $13500 OBRO |
Good looking car! Good luck with the sale. A column shift sure seems unusual.
I noticed in the other thread you had acquired some good fenders, are they not included in the sale? |
Fenders have been reserved for Spring Carlisle pickup. I'm hoping this car is sold before then. I can give the info to the new owner.

It was DEFINITELY a great barn find...
It was DEFINITELY a great barn find...fer sure❗️
After you sell it...let us in on how much you paid the original owner...was it the $8500.00❓ |
Who cares?
|
Because...
I dunno, just interested that’s all. He included the original post about when he purchased it and I think it’s an interesting story...Why so condescending ? Sheez...

I think it's in poor taste to ask what the car was paid for, but that's just my opinion.
Regaurdless of what was paid, you put a bunch of time and money into it, so hopefully who ever buys it will appreciate what you have (or haven't) done. Good luck on the sale! |
