WTB 70-77 Firebird Parts Radio
 

After having my original 73 TA radio restored we discovered the volume control component is damaged and needs to be replaced. Does anyone have a junk firebird radio (70-77) laying around? Need it asap and will pay good money for the right part. Brock 972-596-5305

I think you will you need to stay within the type , such as AM - AM/FM - AM/FM Stereo.

Have seen just volume shaft assemblies for sale on eBay in past (NOS).

What exact type are you working on ?
AM Mono
AM Fader
AM/FM Mono
AM/FM Fader
AM/FM Stereo Red Dot

The radio is at the shop. It was stock for a 73 TA so I know it has a fader. I'm guessing AM Fader.

Checked with the audio shop. it is a base model AM mono. The volume control from other models might work if the shaft is the same length. Do you have something that might work? Let me know what you have and the price. Need something soon.
