76 T/A Going to be scraped before 9/30/2010, Anyone need parts before it goes??

The village where I live has come down on me for having an unlicensed car in my backyard and I'm saving the complete drive train out of it for myself (engine, transmission, rear axle and subframe). If I have any other parts you may need before it goes please PM me. Not trying to make a fortune off of it but I hate sending parts to the scrapyard when someone may need something from it.

The car is pretty rusty but there are still some parts that could be used. I'll post some pics of it so you can see what there is you could possibly need. It has to go within the next 30 days so if you need something you need to get a hold of me ASAP. Before anyone asks it has aftermarket T Tops installed during it's rough life I knew the car as it came from my hometown Erie PA and it's been through alot.

I also have to get rid of my 97 T/A (I am not parting it out, fuel line fire under the hood, selling complete car LT1 base car, automatic) within the same time frame. I will post pictures of the 97 in the appropriate forum.

Is the taillight harness in good shape or hacked up?

Some one either changed the backup light sockets or cut the 2 wires because they were staying on and the harness was spliced to the sockets, no solderless terminals were used they just twisted the wires together, other than that every wire I can see is untouched to the plug on top of the left wheel well and all the original ground wires are still bolted to the body, the side marker sockets are even original. All the tail light sockets are original and untouched. So only 2 wires (green power, and black ground) were cut and everything else is original and in the factory plastic conduit. I would say it's in pretty good shape considering the year and knowing what the other harnesses look like under the dash, and engine harness, it would need a proper splice for backup lights only.

Sad. Back in the day, that was a SHARP car, C&C tops and all.

Amazing how much damage 34 years, salt, water, and neglect can do...............

I could use a left rear wheel spoiler,if there are no issues with it.

No 8 track, no radio, non working aftermarket cassette player. Automatic console rough. RR flair is only one on the car that isn't cracked or bondoed it has a lot of stone chips.

If no one wants the rear harness before I scrap it I have no problem in cutting a socket off. I would like to keep it intact until that time in case some one would like the whole harness.

Both sides are broken. RR is the only one that is even close to being good.

Are the trunk torque rods in good shape?

Sirrotica 09-06-2010 12:02 PM

Nothing wrong with the torque rods they support the deck lid fine.
