68/69 Rear Seat Bottom Interchange

Does a 68 or 69 GTO/Lemans rear seat bottom fit any other years or any other A-Bodies?
Thanks for the help

I would suspect "68-'69 BOPC interchange - hardtop. Post cars are likely different, as are convertibles. Presence of arm rest bases are another variable.

On the embossed vinyl rear trim panels, watch for metered off looking screw on arm rests.
These original '68 -69 2 door (& '70-72 2door Post ) rear trim panels will go all the way to the floor. '68 & 69 Chevy & Pontiac A-body 2 door models did not use the lower plastic filler panels & the near 3" wide textured metal filler strips like '70-72's. Most of the '68 & 69 Buick & Olds A-body 2 door hardtops did not use the large lower plastic plastic filler panels either.

'68-69 A-body 2door hardtop or Post (& '70-72 2 door Post) fully upholstered lower seat frames should measure aprox 58" wide. That measurement (on my phone) is taken aprox 4" back from the leading edge of the seat cushion. '70-72 A-body 2 door hardtop lower seat frames will measure considerably less. Converts, even narrower.

'68 through '72 4door A-body lower seat cushions will not interchange with ones from 2 doors. The 4 door lower seat frames have a large curved radius instead of being squared off.

Thanks for the information. I'm going to measure the seat and see how wide it is.
