I had mine removed about 10-12 years ago, recovery was pretty fast for me. I had a little minor trouble at the incision points, that required an office follow up.

Hope yours goes as well as mine did.

Preston, my gall bladder was removed in 2001. No stones; I lost mine because it ruptured after being lacerated by a shoulder harness in car accident. The surgeon couldn’t explain why I didn’t have peritonitis since the gall bladder has been draining directly into my abdomen for about three weeks. Good luck on your survey and recovery.

One of the engineers I work for is having his removed Thursday started bothering him Sunday. They told him off work 1-2 weeks.

Preston, Are you really alive? Alright!

Goatracer1 05-19-2022 08:00 PM

Gall stones saved my life. Went to the hospital with horrible pain and it turned out to be a gall stone. While checking me out the doctors found that I had cancer. If the gall stone hadn't caused me to go to the hospital they might not have found the cancer until it was too late.

thepontiacman 05-20-2022 06:41 AM

Alive!

Thanks to good surgeons, Doctors and Nurses and all the others at the Hospital.
They did robotic surgery so just small cuts.

Can't lift anything heavy, but will get some help with that. May be a little slow for a while.

Thanks to all who took time to pray for me and wish me well.
