Boosted Bandit at Sick Week

Congrats to Nick for winning fastest Pontiac and placing third in his class (DYO Pro) at Sick Week 2023 in the Boosted Bandit. Stock 400 block twin turbo TA.
All of the hard work is paying off. The car survived the week of racing and road tripping from Orlando to Bradenton to South Georgia Motorsports Park to Gainesville and finally back to Orlando all while clocking mid eight second passes at each track. Also congrats to Rich Guido (Iron Man) for winning Stick Shift class in his 65 GTO. That man is a legend!

Congrats to Nick and Richard for the win. Competing in the Drag week class is not an easy task to do! Glad to hear that everything went well this year.

I was at Gainesville Raceway on Thursday and had a chance to see both of these cars in person. Both are a work of art technology wise, and the attention to detail is incredible. Congratulations to both!!

I saw the TA on the feed, paid no attention as I figured, for sure, it was LS.
I'll rewatch some of it.

Congrats to both.
Rich will log over 7k miles with high 8 second passes.

They call him "The Canadian Chuck Norris"

Awesome to see his 80 year old dad traveling with him. They are the best.

Yes for sure..I always tell him ..I need to grow a set and put a stick in my car...I'm almost at that point...need an overdrive ....and getting tired of playing with the voodoo torque convertors. Plus it would be quicker driving to the track and be 20mpg plus on the highway.
