Looking for the plate to cover this EGR opening but can’t find this shape. Can anyone source one?

Because it's not an EGR passage, it's where the hot air choke stove for the automatic choke operation bolts on.

The EGR is vertical, and behind the choke stove in this picture. This is a 1973 Firebird factory cast iron manifold. Edelbrock did have a cast aluminum plate to block that passage back in the late 70s/early 80s, I'm not certain if it's still available, or you ca take a piece of 1/4 inch steel, and fabricate one from scratch.

Yup. Buy a gasket, put it on a piece of flat steel, shape the steel like the outline of the gasket. Drill two holes. Paint to suit...but the paint may burn off.

3/8” aluminum plate would be easier to drill, cut and shape than steel.

Easy project you can do with a drill, hacksaw and a file, using either steel or aluminum plate.

Well they didn’t have any pics but JEGS had it for like $6 plate and gasket. Thanks!
