L2423 Pistons

I bought an SR 455 short block years ago. Someone put an SD 495030 crank, SD rods & these pistons in it. Looking for info on the pistons.

I believe they fit only the SD rod. (narrow pin boss for SD rod)
Have single valve relief, correct?
(not 2 like normal pistons.)

These aren't the pop up pistons right?
(didn't look them up, from memory, but crs possible)

:)

Thinking about putting the short block together & dropping a set of Edelbrocks on top.

Piston I.D.

Those are flat-top pieces with a single "trough" valve pocket (mentioned above), 3 cc's, 1.497 C.H., and weigh (nominally) 575 grams.

Has somewhat "heavy" ring pack, 1/16", 5/64", and 3/16".

Recommended P/W .005".

Thanks, Gary in N.Y.

P.S. My records show "press-fit" only, no provision for lock ring grooves. This might be different on later pieces, not sure. Also not sure about centered or offset wrist pins??
