Error message when posting
 

Each time I make a post, I get the following error message:

"This forum requires that you wait 20 seconds between posts. Please try again in 5 seconds."

The message posts OK, but why the error message?

I can't even begin to type fast enough to type a new post within 20 seconds! ;)

I have been noticing this for many days now - something similar happens if you happen to edit a post (as i often do when I notice a typo right after clicking "post");

It's like the server is delaying things.

If you make the mistake of clicking "ok" after the initial posting, it will repeat your post a second time;
If you're editing, it's glacially slow to show the edited post...

I’ve emailed the forums admin about this issue, let’s hope there’s a solution coming soon.

Maybe I can help.

I use two different computers for posting, one with Windows 7 Pro operating system, the other with Windows 11 operating system.

There have been zero issues when using the Windows 11 operating system.

When using the Windows 7 Pro operating system:

Posting a new topic works fine, no error, although it takes about 20 seconds.

Replying to an existing topic gets the error every time.
