Good now :)

Scott Stoneburg 06-28-2021 09:41 PM

Outstanding!

Dragncar 06-28-2021 09:57 PM

I don't care, kinda makes drag racing seem stupid. Looks like the most on on earth. Going up and down the gears. That Pontiac mid-range torque sure eats up cars coming out of corners.
No waiting for power band, its right there under your foot at all times.
So nice to see him up and running again.

Never get tired of watching and listening to that car. The ease with which he passes other cars is fun to watch. A mixture of driving skill and superior wide power band of the Pontiac engine is impressive.

Main reason why I have enjoyed road race competition over the last 50 years and admire people who can really drive (contending with other vehicles for lap after lap) vs the quarter mile stuff. Quarter Mile has its place but Road Racing is my Favorite form of Racing.

No doubt about it. Thought I heard him say "Here, hold this" when he passed that challenger, Bwahhaha !

Cool video. Good job to Roger. The car obviously makes a lot of power but Roger can drive!

JSchmitz 06-29-2021 06:02 AM

Very cool! Thanks for sharing it!

sdbob 06-29-2021 06:51 AM

Thanks. I always enjoyed road racing first. Then dirt track racing, then drag racing.

prostreet64 06-29-2021 08:08 AM

Thanks for posting this. Great to watch him reel in the other cars and make it look so easy.

Just takes American muscle, Jim Butler seems to be the new Herb Adams.

Elarson 06-29-2021 11:03 AM

I liked seeing the Challenger getting squirrely trying to stay ahead of him.....and failing.
He blew past the Porsches and other euro cars like they had run out of gas.

That thing has to be making more than 700.

RocktimusPryme 06-30-2021 08:49 AM

That looked exciting. Especially once he caught up to the pack. Much more fun that most of the road track stuff I have seen.

Ive tried to watch, F1 and stuff but there seems to never be much side to side racing. It almost seems like the bigger race is the time trails for the pole.

Drag Star Le Mans 06-30-2021 11:14 PM

This is such a badass car and the Roger drives it so damn good!
