65 LeMans rear suspension help needed
3 Attachment(s)
I just recently bought back a 65 LeMans project car that I sold many years ago. I bought it for my oldset and I to build for him to race highschool drags next year and wherever he takes it racing in the future, this is a drag race car only.
The original BOP 8.2 differential was scrapped so on the return road trip we also picked up a 60.5" WMS to WMS 9" Ford truck differential with 3.70 gears and 31 spline axles. I do have aftermarket ATI adjustable upper rear control arms and both SSM & Jegster lower arms. A also bought a Currie 9" a-body bracket kit. Before I take on the endeavor of using the Currie kit, I'm wondering if it would be better/wiser/easier to forgo that and install a ladder bar in it instead? |
