Cool. Looks like we'll have nice weather tomorrow AM... I will probably drive up for it.

I was hoping to go but have other obligations today, so will miss it.

I'm back and resting comfortably in my recliner.

Beautiful day and naturally the stories flowed.

I'll post up a few pics in a little bit.

Here's an old friend:

This car belonged to my dad. He rescued it from a field in Oregon, intending to make a Super Duty clone out of it. Unfortunately he passed before he could make that particular dream a reality.

When he passed he gifted it to our friend Ed Lear. Ed has been working on it all along and now has it in driveable condition.

It proved to be popular, too, as Ed won his class today.

I probably haven't seen this car in 17 years.

I remember when this car came home. Dad parked it in Mom's spot in the garage.

She was pissed. Here was this junky thing with a milk crate for a seat sitting on four flat tires in HER spot.

Dad was elated. It had good glass and was a perfect starting point. He was walking around, whistling, totally oblivious.

It is not important - wanted to see if it was a twin of mine.
