1967 GTO Negative Battery Cable

This is a follow up to a previous post. I know the negative cable should have a 90 degree bend as it attaches to the stud on the engine. But who makes a correct cable? After being assured by two vendors that they had the correct cable, both were just straight. Neither had enough metal to be bent properly. The original end had the bend, and the metal attachment was longer. Any leads on NOS or correct reproduction? Thanks.

If you have found a cable that suits your needs other than the lug on the block end, is there something else preventing you from buying a 90-degree lug and crimping it on yourself?

Had not thought of that. thanks. but I wonder why no one makes a correct one. it's easy to see the repro ones are incorrect.

Just a thought. Check with the parts stores for just the end to see if they have a longer one all by itself. They might have one laying around somewhere. Then you could cut off the short end an replace it with the longer one and bend it as needed.
