Here's some I've seen. |

Keith, I like the 78-79 Monza wagon parked next to your truck!
I just happened to take this picture yesterday In North Buffalo NY, 70? GP & 63-64 Impala, both have been there on and off for the last 2 weeks I have been here. Also earlier this week there was a beat up Diesel Chevette in the Tonawanda engine plants parking lot. If it shows up again I will snap a picture. |
Wow, diesel Chevette, that is a blast from the past. A friend bought one new in the early 80's. He said it was the slowest accelerating vehicle GM ever made.

Jerry, as I was leaving the plant yesterday there was no Chevette, but there was this very nice looking if slightly pimped Duece & a Quarter 4-door. The colors didn't come out well in the drive by picture, it is a pale yellow with a white top.
But as I was walking in this morning there was the D Chevette. The driver must work night shift. |

Ah yes, the Electra 225. I remember a guy back in the day always talking about getting a Duece and a quarter in white on white on white.

If you're looking for cars in original condition this doesn't fit, but it is a 1969. Seen parked at the local Arby's restaurant today. Don't know what it had for an engine but there was a six speed transmission, along with houndstooth upholstery.

Heres some of my 71 and 77 that I daily from about April to December. Nothing feels better than jumping in a classic and just going about your day like you were driving a regular car.

I was out around town. Stopped in on our alignment buddy. He had just finished up the '65 Vette with the 396 in the background. He's a wizard on the alignment. Always perfect.

Last Friday when I was back in Michigan for a couple of days, I saw this 55 Chevy 4-Door running 75mph down the highway. I almost got the passenger side.
I passed me so quick I didn't notice the modern wheels and tires until I looked at the pictures. |

That 55 is cool. Looks like it rolled of the set of Adam 12.
Saw this early 70's Ford today. Driver was not the friendly give a wave a kind of guy. |

No photo, but I had to go into work this week. On the drive in, I was passed by a white Gremlin X. I've seen it a few times before over the past few years, so I know it's local. It is probably a V8, it has dual exhaust and has a nice rumble. I know it's early production because it has the small bumpers.

That Black '66 Chevelle would be 100 times better with the right Rally wheels or just about any other wheels. Those things are hideous on that car...IMO.

That old COE is pretty awesome, but with that configuration can it still be considered a Cab Over Engine design? Thanks for posting it.

The wife and I went on a drive today. We stopped to take the ferry across the river in Merrimack Wi. I was waiting in line and walked over to the restroom. When I came out another car was in line behind me.

On the Drive from MI to NY yesterday, it was apparently drive your blue car day.
1st in Ohio 67-68 Mustang Convertible, then later in 0H10 a 66 Impala 4-door, and finally in NY a late 60's Chrysler Sedan. |
My Dad had a Plymouth similar to that one, but a 2 door. Same color, year, vinyl top.
Memories.....he died 4 months later... too soon. George |
It's a '68 Fury III if I'm not mistaken.

‘79 450 SL. My good friend from our local Pontiac club drives this thing everywhere. Interior is super clean, even the A/C works! He’s selling it for $3500 and the only real issue is that the drivers side door and quarter panel got considerably scratched by an EZ Up on a windy day at a car show. If I had room I might buy it, but… nah. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's a sharp looking SL. Usually they're in pretty bland colors, but that Gold looks pretty wild on it. I'd buy it, throw on some 18" AMG Monoblocks, Euro bumpers and 5%tint all around. You'd have a certified pimp mobile! That's not a bad deal for that at all |
I'd buy that for $3500 in a heartbeat.
