Considering this picture was taken from a thread called "Big Chiefs CV-1 project" and was posted by the guy doing the work I would say it's pretty legit.

I saw a picture of the Lockness monster and Big Foot once too.

Why it’s been done before with a Pontiac.

I think until he starts consistently falling down the list, like out of the top 5, why change? He’s still very competitive with his equipment, until they prove otherwise.

I've seen enough mock ups of CV and V engines lately you'd think there'd be quite a few actual engines out there by now. Instead it's always bare block mock ups for a photo op. I could go in my garage right now and through some new KRE heads and intake on a bare block and call it a whatever.

Have you noticed, Every one going to turbos are going with smaller motors.
I put my blower on a 400 CI. to make more boost for my application.
It's working out pretty well now that I'm getting it figured out.

GT.

You must have quite a "vast" database, in order to make that statement. Want to share all that data with us?

Can't give up info that folks asked me not to share in public. Brian came out, known about it for some time. But not from him. Others have asked me not to share it. I will do what they ask, they did not have to tell me anything. Its their choice. Who wants to get sued over something stupid, but true ?
They are worried about it.

Chuck, who has one of the fastest cars, is under 400 c.i. All those cars have way to much power for the street, they have to turn it down. It's all about who put the hottest tune in and stayed glued to a street.

Murder Nova's engine is a twin turbo 482

Quote:

(Speed Society) Shawn has actually made a couple of big changes to the car, including going from a big block Chevy to a small block Chevy that would allow for more RPM and more efficient turbo spool with the help of the 482 ci Proline engine. Therefore, Murder Nova should now be making more consistent power across the power band and possibly higher peak horsepower which would help the car to blast down the racing surface in question a little bit more efficiently come race night.

GTOGEORGE 06-06-2018 09:34 AM

Chucks had his engine for a few years and Murder Nova has been working on his for a while he wanted to copy Chiefs engine probably because of Chiefs success with his 482. The newer engines like Fireball......Monzas and most of the out of state engines are 540 or larger. Chuck...Chief...... Shawn will be bringing a knife to a gun fight, things are really getting Crazy!!!
