I purchased one as well. I'll probably send it off to be ported to match my Highports while the engine is apart. I'll more than likely dyno my upcoming build with my ProSystems carburetor, but I'd like to eventually switch to a FAST system and become familiar with over the next couple years before I switch from N/A to turbos :cool2:

Don't think so. WOW $40 for 4, you would need 8!

I will check tomorrow and see if I can get a 160 plugs made with the proper o-ring. Thinking $20.00 for a set of 8, plus shipping. Any interest?

Tom Vaught

I'll take a set Tom.

I need to talk to the shop to see if the parts can be fabricated.

No promises on this deal but have an idea that it can be made to work.

The man I would deal with is off a couple of days so he cannot "quote" what the job might cost. Apparently there is some interest in the plugs and a metal retention (cover) plate so I will keep everyone informed.

A cover plate attached to the intake using the center screw location between the injector holes.

Hey Tom, I'd be interested in a set of plugs as well.
Thanks,
Chris

Are you going to make them long enough to blend angle them to match the top of the port or is that important to airflow? I.E. A hole compared to a angled matching plug? thanks Rod

JOE DEYTON 02-01-2011 11:33 PM

Ordered an intake for the heck of it. Have plenty of cars to use it on.

Tip of injector never gets into airstream. Always a slot on the roof with efi. I was planning on copying the injector dimensions sonmewhat except have the plugsbe flush with the injector machined boss top surface so that the cover plate would secure the plugs.

Received the two manifolds ordered today. Tom, I would like two sets if you can get them made.

fasteddy 02-02-2011 10:59 AM

Put me down for one-thanks for the heads up-Johnny. Ordered mine 5 minutes ago.

Skip Fix 02-02-2011 11:01 AM

I guess worse case scenario getting a set of old injectors and the fuel rails to bolt down to plug them.

Your welcome Steve, but I thought you were running a V-D combo?

fasteddy 02-02-2011 11:40 AM

Johnny, I have more cars than just the Piglet. ;0) Besides, like Tom V, I know a bargain when I see it. LOL Thanks again.
