If he did not think that you had enough installed height to run 740" lift then he must not have understood that your running a aftermarket head.

The lobes Gach listed are from Bullet Cams Master list.
They are not UltraDyne lobes. R310/4485 310 278 196 0.4485 R322/4455 322 288 205 0.4455 https://www.bulletcams.com/Masters/Rlobes.htm . |

Stated.... "Comp cam 4470/4360 lobe"
I will suggest those are not lobe numbers. They are the amount of lobe lift. Therefore Tim at Bullet would not recognized those as Comp 'lobe numbers' to compare specs. . |
Quote:
If they are lift numbers then there would be a number of Comp lobe that fit each, also most people would have said .447/.436 Stan |

I think if you reset (loosen) the exhaust lash for the bigger rocker ratio, then tightening the intake lash, those together can change the valve timing event most than a 1.5* cam timing change. In the real world, changing the lash is probably quicker also.
Ever heard of a big SR spring good for more than .7” lift and coil bind less than 1”? Let me know when you find it. :) |

Stan, you are correct. Comp lists the lobe lifts with three digits.
With that said, if one wants to wade thru all the Comp solid roller lobes listed here they can look for a .447 & .436 https://edelbrock-files-v1.s3-us-wes...be-Catalog.pdf Side note: If one wants to nit pick. If the Comp cam was ordered with a "B" suffix code then the lobe lift can, but not always, be altered slightly. But typically only increased by 0.001" . |

Birds of a feather flock together. You also like to manipulate dyno sheets. that’s a known fact LOL. Have you graduated yet from David V class. Your a amateur at best. I mean off the wall chit !
Its also well know theres a small group of of trolls, here that zone in on my every post. Totally jealous of response I get. Not realizing how much it makes them look like fools. Here’s best part, lobe lift, 4470/4360 Steve C it should be .4470/.4360 oh my god, it just slows the inexperience of cam lingo. My conversation with.oh excuse me Bullet racing cams NOT ultra. Talking about cam lobes. A whole dissertation came up about these are only lobes we have for Pontiac stick block. I’m like this isn’t a stock block oh well we don’t have blanks for that, you can’t get blanks you would have to have whole new blanks made up, that would cost a Fortune. I’m like thinking Comp cam has them but you don’t. Just shows or at least makes me think, their waaay behind on times. Old school. The sad part is you try to contribute to a thread, and the trolls are setting there waiting, taking it 90 degrees north. Beating their chest. Dad you where right don’t argue with people who are dumber than you because they’ll make you look dumb. Can we just get back to the original purpose of the tread. Over and out. |
