... oh, duh ... ok ... but trust me, i want to, but i simply can not ... depending on final RaceWeight of the car, i "might" be willing to get as close as i can in weight, if needed, and run the winner of the heads up class ??? ... same thing really, i just wont get any money ... but i think you guys know, i'm not after the money ... ;) ...

mike leech 04-19-2012 06:13 AM

what does "as close as i can mean". Just make the darn 6.75 and run. You don't want to have or give excuses do you?

his is going to be the first set of PP to probably be on a car racing.. plus if he is running radials that raises his odds even more.:)

i think that gives him a lesser of a chance to win.

When is norwalk? Dates....

PONTIAC DUDE 04-19-2012 10:42 AM

Thought it over and ................Guess I'm just gonna add to the pot for the CV-1 to win in Toms race rather then any heads up deal rather then any match race. To many variables.

I'll even go out on a limb and make it $100.00 to win. $50.00 to place (R.U.). But nothing on show. LOL. :D :D

A CV-1 headed combo could make a lot of money running that N/A race, but bet I'll take the money back home with me? .

Ok with all this talk about money being thrown towards a cv-1 guy to enter or if a cv-1 guy wins. Is that just talk or is that going to be like one of those deals where lil jack backed out of a race with The Mighty TA?sorry jack but the way I understand it you backed down pretty quick after Robin quote"layed down a number".
I mean is that legit someone will pay up IF a cv-1 guy shows up and wins? And still curious how much does it pay to win the heads up n/a deal at norwalk?and the total is that with or w/o the "extra" money thrown in?

(in my best David Chapelle voice) Are u on crack?

I went an 8.38 two weeks prior to Norwalk, Robin went a 8.45 at Norwalk

I changed my front springs and it through the whole geometry out on the chassis and the car didn't work for chit after that, and I told Robin I could not race him.

Chapelle lmfao that's funny right there. I couldn't resist I had to give an example to make sure everyones comments were legit. I appologize for using you as a Ginny pig.
I hope ppm 505 takes his 4200 lb Edsel out there and puts up a good showing. That is if MR "single FO" doesn't "lay down a number" 1st.
At least all of us aren't running s triple nickel bbc in a '59 cat and running it in drag week.. Really that is a real jackoff especially when that guy puts a bumper sticker on his car that says "honk if parts fall off" that ticks me off more than anything. That breaks a Pontiac guys rules doesn't it? Thou shalt not make fun of Wangers wide track Pontiac.I still think if that guy had a pair he'd run faster/quicker with a real motor in it....with dinosaur heads or not y'all have proved that.

CV1 OFFICIAL get a car to Norwalk Thread

Tom S has offered up a free entry to the first CV1 headed car to enter his heads up n/a race at norwalk.

Pontiacdude, litle jack and me also have each put up 50.00 each to the winner if its a cv1 headed car!
thats 150.00 so far..

I thought this was pretty interesting, so I'll off $100.00 if a CV-1 car shows up and races in Tom S heads up race. Big money here offered well over 2 grand to win Tom's heads up race. Here's the chance for the CV-1 to compete with every after market head out there in and even playing field. Time for the CV-1 boys to put up or shut up.
