Pretty sure that my old car is on this list already. Here is the PHS for it.
I always thought that the 15” Rally II’s were part of the 724 handling package which was included in the WW5 package.
I guess that was incorrect after comparing the WW5 PHS that Paul posted to the PHS on the car that I owned. Apparently a 72 GTO, even with the WW5 and 724 handing package, had a 15” poverty cap wheel unless you ordered Rally II's or Honeycombs.
Rather interesting that the GT came standard with a Rally II wheel but GTO did not in 72.
Paul did your 72 GT with the WW4 package have a separate option for 15 inch Rally II’s?

Jeff, My 72 WW4 doesn't have a separate option for the 15" wheels. Maybe it was part of the Sport option, I will have to go back and break down that package to see what was included, I don't remember at the moment.

No
You have to use the WW5 Option Price to determine what it was.

The new WildGreen was a Late Automatic @ $987.00

The new LuLuBlue was an Early 4 Speed @ $1006.86

Did the Blue car still have the Pewter Interior - or had it been changed ?

The blue car had a white & black interior in it.

Baron Von Zeppelin 11-18-2019 03:44 PM

That's a shame about the interior.
But i'm not even sure they offer replacement covers and door panels and carpet off-the-shelf for that color.

Just realized they didn't even offer a Blue Bucket interior on 72 GTO
Only a CLOTH Blue Bench
So probably would have had to been a Base/Non-Custom interior with Bench seat to get a Blue Interior on GTO .... i'm guessing :noidea:

Uncle Judge 11-18-2019 04:03 PM

The Wilderness green car from WI was an automatic Paul.

Also, the 701 interior color is indeed Pewter and not White which is 721. Now I know why all of the interior was re-sprayed white in that blue WW-5 restored car.
Pretty cool for sure! Can't believe that I missed that when we looked at the car but the trim code for white and Pewter is so close.

Haven't seen Lloyd post in a while, and read he was having some critical health issues - due for surgery.
But just in case he checks in with us --
-- seems like he had info on 1 WW5 car that the owner didn't wish for him to share the documentation.

Maybe this 4 Speed Yellow car , was that car ?

Doing some googling and tracking -
So far have found out that the Tim Fleming - Monarch Yellow 4 Speed
was actually originally Special Ordered BLACK
and has 2 Buildsheets with it.

BLACK with Saddle Interior - 4 Speed
i think the value/interest of the car is downplayed a LOT by the Yellow paint.

Very Very Few special order Black Cars in 1972, at all.
Its practically the cream of the WW5 crop , fellows.
90k in the car with a full frame-off resto
All matching # drivetrain as well.

From gtoforum.com - Sep 2017
Quote:

When my step father purchased the car in 1974 it had been painted yellow. I tracked the car down through several owners and bought it back, had it beautifully restored to stock condition and decided to go with the yellow he had known (monarch yellow). I struggled with the decision to not go with the ordered, black color, but the restoration was with him in mind.

Also on the trail of another Sundance Orange 4 Speed with Matching # Drivetrain
that was in mid-frame-off-resto in Sep 2012 with a good stash of NOS parts for the resto. Owner was in NY

Here's another beauty
72 WW5 Automatic - Silver with Pewter Interior  :oogle:

$68,200 at BJ Auction in Vegas in 2009

Taking it for granted it was a Real McCoy by the money.
But we really need a document to keep the registry listing honest.
It claims documentation , but doesn't picture it.

https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...OR-COUPE-79200

I'd hump the chrome off the rear bumper of that car.
No kidding :D
Silver and Pewter , damn she sexzy

Jeff, It appears the 15" wheel option is part of the Y99 (724) handling package which is part of the WW4 (702) and WW5 (704) option.

Definitely!
Did either of you two ever find an original build sheet on the Lucerne blue car?
AH should be in the wheel box.

I know at minimum that Lloyd, John and myself have them all filed on our computers.

I completely forgot this thread was jump-started with 20 cars already accounted for / documented.
So it does not have ALL those documents posted here.

But i counted what looks like 30 different cars in my documents/files.
Couple or few might be for the same car - but have a different thumbnail appearance.

Will filter back through them and maybe post them one car at time, over a period of time, with their respective highlite notes from the Big List - in the order they appear on the list.

No
But it's likely a Real McCoy
That link is still valid and can still be viewed.

4 Speed - Red / Black Buckets / White Stripes / Dog Dishes
Sold new in Warsaw, NY
$4955.40 = MSRP
Was estimated to pull 75k-100k , brought 57k , in Jan 2016 - Kissimmee, Florida Mecum

This Red 4 Speed,
plus the Silver/Pewter Auto
plus pjferri's Red Auto ,
Would put us at 30 cars. Over 10%

I don't know if there was a build sheet for the blue car we looked at, we didn't get to see all the paperwork they had. Only docs I have were texted photos of the PHS.

As far as the wheels go, I know is says 15x7 with the Y99 handling package, but I don't see where it specified what wheels it came with? Unless the rally wheels were part of the GT package and the WW4 package bumped them up to the 15x7? It has a hand written note on the PHS about a $58 charge of some sort on the tire option. This is probably a topic for a different discussion not related to the WW5 post.

Paul, That is what I was saying in my previous post. I realize that the 724 Handling packing is included in the WW4 and WW5.
I also said that it was rather interesting that the GT came standard with dechromed Rally II wheels but the GTO did not.

I think you have it right about 15x7 R2's phasing over from being inclusive as 14 R2's on the GT option.
The RIM size between 14 and 15 didn't effect R2 option cost.
It was the TIRE size that brought upcharge on a 15 R2 combo.
WW4 bumped the size rim - and then style (R2) was covered under GT.
WW4 covered the 15 rubber

CMD = credit memo document
The $58 is the amount the dealer was credited after all the dust settled on the math from all the combination wheel//hubcap//tire features included amongst GT , SPORT , WW4 all bouncing against each other on the same car.

I don't have data on GT and SPORT, Mike Noun or his website would be the good sources.

WW4 would only pull about 3 or 4 cars if we did a thread.
So this is cool here

Your car is WILD
LemansSport GT-WW4 , would all that even fit on the decklid ?

Not 100% apples/apples - but to support that paragraph
I used a 71 Judge for the instance

14x6 R2 inclusive
15x7 R2 upgrade - only incurred a Tire Charge

No upcharge on the actual R2 Rim Size
