The interior paint code is listed here. The original was a lacquer base. Might have a hard time finding it now.

No, I would connect the 2 wires that are at the ammeter posts together.
(the wire is still needed to go to wherever it goes, it just won't have the ammeter in circuit)

I can't help you with the rear speakers, but as far as the dash speaker goes, you can go one of a couple different ways. I used one of the DVC 4x10's that has separation for left and right channels....
