I pour in 6 qts with new filter, drive a few...
I pour in 6 qts with new filter, drive a few miles, check the level the next day and re-mark the stick if needed.
Then I don't have to worry about how far out of the block the tube is sitting.

Vacuum to the "flappers" on the factory air cleaner is taken from the #1 runner on the intake. It has NOTHING to do with the TCS system.

1968-74 primary rods with "B" suffix are used only in Qjets with the APT adjustment located in the throttle body from factory.
Primary rods w/o suffix are used in all 1965-67 Qjets.

The first usage of the #744 cam was in the 1966 GTO Tri-Power 389 XS engine.
Engine Production Log 7-26-66 shows that 190 XS engines was built for 1966.
Last Ram Air engine to recieve the #744...
