Are the hood hinge springs used/new? I've solved at least two different hoods that sat up in the rear by replacing the springs.

I loosely bolted the inner fenders to the cowl and core support if I recall correctly. Then I set the fenders up and over the inners.

The orange/blk wire with blue connector is the clock power. The grey wire/connector is the rheostat for dash lights. Clocks two light harness would plug into that. Brown wire w/red connector is MAYBE...

I used Auto City Classic for my 69 glass. I see they have a windshield for a 68 for $119 and I put in a Syracuse zip code and shipping was $110... not too bad and that was tinted with the upper band

And the opposite could be true as well. I would have liked to have gotten my rear bumper tucked in another 1/4-3/8", but my center bracket is all the way against the center frame rail with no shims...

Here's mine. The white paint forward of the cowl to body seam line is original paint. I wanted to preserve that, so I left it and the paint was in remarkably good shape
