I would leave them alone, at least smooth out the leading edges as mentioned. The ported pic was done by Wilson few years back. I was at 850 hp back then with that manifold.

I just had a pan built, so much easier and takes 2 minutes to pull off. I had the walls built 5 inches tall, had to notch a few spots to clear limiters, belt drive ect. I will have to take some pics.
