My ordeal with the Best Teflon/graphite seal was way back and the seal had only been out for a few months. This was before they added pins to the kit or suggested sealant. I always had good luck...

It is possible that it was a happy dyno. It is also possible that they had a problem measuring fuel flow. Remember they don't need to measure fuel flow to dyno an engine.
