To my knowledge, there isn't a bolt on chrome lever for a 65 GTO for your transmission. There are several aftermarket levers available but the only one that would be close to the one you might want...

Not OP, but I have used the stock 9v ignition wire to trigger a relay for steady 12v to an HEI in the past. It's just one way to be sure that you are getting full battery voltage without hacking up...
