If it were me, and considering the engine harness...

If it were me, and considering the engine harness is likely original, which puts it at >50years old....I think I'd just buy a new engine harness.

I don't think it's a "shorter chain" when you're buying that type of timing set. At least that's how it is with Rollmaster. With those .005 and .010 sets, the chain is the same as in the standard...

It sounds like you're doing something similar as I did to my '67 a few years ago. I also went to a Moser 12-bolt rear and switched over the rear arms to GW. Sure is nice to dial in your pinion angle...

I ran Doug's 1-7/8" primary headers, 3-1/2" to the x-crossover, and 3" for the remainder including full tails. I had 2 different induction systems dynoed for it....a Q-jet/ported HO and a Holley...
