bleed hole belongs there , loosen plate screws & close & tap on them to line up , lapping compound for firearms works excellent to seat the plates, not a fan of the brush on DAG sealer & Parts place...

Changed 7/8 GM bar to 1" UMI & clears center...

Changed 7/8 GM bar to 1" UMI & clears center section by 1" now , GM one was 1/4" gap, rides nicer & no chance of binding .

GM cast impeller has full vanes from hub hole to edge GMB does not . Was the 1 you removed full vanes close to the edge ? Add some more timing & fatten it up a bit & temps will drop.

Originals were chrome , who supplied the dash housing ? I would send it back & get the proper one as all of your work looks spot on but the missing chrome from the blinker and high beam pods is not...

Re-clock the alternator / use thicker gaskets 3/8 are avail. If only the end rockers are touching file them down on the top edge a few 1000s.

Have a close to mint with original plating with 1 tiny ding & cut-outs for reverse lights / some replated ones are ruined by poor quality grinding & prep work . Excellent core for show candidate ....

They are terrible repo parts & the inside lower edge is too thick & grabs the glass holders. Trim the lower lip off with razor knife -score until through.

Through the bulk head rubber plug use extra hole that exists , attached to the lower front firewall with clip , to the trans. using 2 metal wire clip holders to the trans.
