Also only tighten a power steering pump belt the minimum that you can get away with. The shaft is supported by bushings vs. bearings. Easy to smoke it if it's to tight!

If your belt squeals after you get it tight, it is the wrong width. See how deep it sits in the pulley compared to the alt? Most parts places sell us the wrong belt, I went thru this a few years...
