I have a 1960 which is a factory 8 lug car. In the 1960 owners manual it shows the Bonneville with the shower cap and the Star Chief with the metal cover and it did not specify wheel types.

Yes, the Bonneville and the Grand Prix pad are exactly the same. The Cat and SC had a short pad.
